Last night, on the eve of the first day of Spring, it snowed 6 inches. For those living in northern areas this would not be an odd event, but those living in Texas this is VERY odd. In the midst of the trees blooming we have been dusted by heavy, wet snow.
This afternoon Ashie and I went out and built a snowman. My only goal was to build a larger snowman that April had built with her last month when it snowed. When we were done the snow man stood over 6 feet tall, had chocolate chip eyes, an asparagus nose, and carrot mouth. Ashie insisted that real snowmen have buttons and since I didn't know where any were I resorted in the trusty black spray paint.

Two Snowmans in one year! Yeah Ashie! I love the spray paint idea Ry, that is creative! I have not been following the blogs much nor have I update recently, but how great are your kids first of all for having the greatest bake sale on earth. Ashlynn you are too funny! I love what she said about Ryan- that is classic!

Hi April, Ryan and Family,
Snow in Texas! It must be global warming! Aspargus nose and paint buttons. Great innovations. We follow your blog and think your family is great. We love you,
Elsie and Kent
although it has been snowing almost non-stop here for the past 4 months, I have not found the time to go outside and make a snowman. But your snowman just made my day! It's awesome! :)
