Abby Graduates Preschool -- It's on to Kindergarten

Friday May 23rd marked a milestone in Abby's life -- Preschool Graduation!

She had her year end singing program at the school. She sang her heart out as you can see from the video and had a great time. She is all registered for Kindergarten next year at Wilmeth Elementary and is very excited about
it. Her teacher Ms Stephanie presented her diploma...she is going to miss her teacher, she really likes her.

Here is a video of her singing some songs, enjoy it.

Abby watching her peers graduate
after she had graduated. She gave
her teacher a nice gift to thank her

for all that she did for her.

A few days before graduation day she participated in a 'field day' where they were tested in their physical ability and agility. Abby survived the rigorous tests and ended up #1 in her class....well not really, but Dad likes to think so. Enjoy the pictures.

UNCLE ADAM -- OUR HERO!

Captain Adam Bing

WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU!

Tonight for Family Home Evening we got together and had a lesson on serving our country. We began the night by looking at a map at where we live and then where Uncle Adam is.....as Payt says, "Half way around the world, that is cool!" That lead to quite an interesting conversation with Payton as to why Adam is there and what he is doing in that part of the world. He then asked several questions about Iraq, their old leader, and why their current leadership doesn't like us. We explained the best we could and helped him to see that Heavenly Father wants all of his children to be free and able to make choices. Next we made some cookies and colored pictures to be placed inside a package that is on the way.

The girls both drew a picture....they are excited for you to get it.

Payton is participating in the talent show at school by sharing 'magic tricks' with others and then selling the trick for money to donate to the school. He wants to share one of his magic tricks with you below.....pretty good if I say so myself.

Here are few extra pictures of our night....it was a lot fun
and we remembered how much fun you are to have around. We are all looking forward to you and Shalisa moving closer to us so you can come down or we can go up whenever we want. Be safe and know that there is a family in Texas that loves you!

Thank you Adam for all that you do we that we are safe, cool, and happy. Because of you and others like you we get to enjoy all our toys and friends. We love you! Ryan, April, Payton, Abby, and Ashlyn (& Maisy)

Dancin' with the Bingham Stars

3 and 1/2 months of dedication and perseverance culminated tonight as Abby and Ashlyn showcased their talent and skill in the 'Dancing Recital Extraordinare' at McKinney North High School.

Ashlyn was up first and as you can see she did great and knew all of the moves. She loves her dance class and her teach says about her that she is a natural.

Abby danced about 1 hour later and also did a great job.

Payton played his Nintendo DS the entire time, except for when the girls danced. His response to the evening was, "It was totally boring." Typical boy.....and with the exception of Abby and Ashlyn I cannot blame him.

Both girls received flowers afterwards, but Ashlyn was the only willing participant for a picture. Enjoy.

Happy Mothers Day

Gram & Grandma Bing, Happy Mothers Day!

This morning the kids gave April their Mothers Day gifts. Here is what each of them gave her:

Payton: I wrote Mom a letter telling her what I loved most about her. Then I glued beans on the side of the pages -- Mom really liked it. I also made my Mom a basket with hersheys kisses in it.

Abby: I made Mom a placemat that had a butterfly on it. When asked where did Abby make it she says, "At my preschool."
Ashlyn: I went to Home Depot and made Mom a wooden flower box with wooden flowers. My favorite part in making it was putting on the stickers.

Ryan: I cooked April's favorite breakfast; eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, orange julius, and fruit. I also prepared lunch this afternoon -- chicken cordon bleu, baby red potatoes, asparagus, rolls, and Fresca to drink. She also got a picture of the Salt Lake Temple that is over our mantle....it looks great (see video).

The picture above was from a couple of weeks ago when the primary went to the Dallas Temple to sing to the Temple Presidency. We told the kids that they would not be able to go inside the temple but would be singing outside. Once we got there the Temple President invited them to come in and sit on the steps inside the foyer while they sang. Afterwards the kids were bragging say, "Mom & Dad you said we couldn't go in the temple, but we did!" They were very excited and they were also very reverent. Both of the girls were just staring at the Temple President and his wife who were dressed in white -- it was a special experience.

We love and miss you and hope you have had a great day. We hope you like the videos....they were made with love for you!
