Red, White, and BOOM!

McKinney had their first July 4th celebration this year so we thought since our tax dollars contributed to the festivities we might as well attend.

The morning started with a breakfast made my dad.....Abelskivers with blueberries and chocolate chips. Mom and Dad enjoyed them, but the kids were not too big of fans.

We then headed to downtown McKinney for our their first ever parade. It only had about 15 entries and lasted for about 15 minutes. We were a bit disappointed, but it was still fun being with friends and celebrating Independence Day.

Payton's favorite was the Car Show that followed the parade. He and his friend Declan, must have taken 30 pictures of all the cars....here are a few of them.

We got together with friends for a BBQ in the evening then headed over to the park for the firework show. Here are some pictures of our fun!

Ashie & her friend Hali

Abby & her friend Emma

Payton won't ever look for pictures.......

Hope everyone else had a great 4th!
